Join us for our virtual #WIIINLA #2020giveback event, designed to provide needs-basedwish list items to local charitable organizations that do great work, and have fun coming together to make a difference!
HOW IT WORKS
· Pick a charity below to support with a donation at any level -- in person or online
· Send a selfie that captures the spirit of your donation to clcarbonel@gmail.com
by November 1
· We'll honor best submissions at a virtual Happy Hour in November (Details TBD)
· Multiple submissions accepted. Bonus points for posts on any social media platform
with the hashtags #WIIINLA and #2020giveback
· Tag the @WIIINLA Instagram account and don't forget to tag your WIIIN friends too!

ORGANIZATIONS
· Downtown Women's Center
· About: The only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving
and empowering women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women
· What to donate? Cleaning supplies, PPE, items from their Emergency Preparedness Amazon Wishlist, and Snack Packs, Toiletry Kits, and Clean Home Kits. Gift cards to DTLA stores like Food 4 Less, CVS, Ralph's, and Target, which allow women to shop for the items they need most.

· About: Non-profit, privately supported, faith-based organization that serves
immediate and long-term needs of homeless and disadvantaged men, women and
children.
· What to donate? Food, clothing and personal care items (drop) or monetary

· The Midnight Mission
· About: Emergency services for homeless individuals in Los Angeles and Orange
County.
· What to donate? Monetary contributions food, clothing and other supplies

· Goodwill
· About: Serves individuals with disabilities and disadvantages by providing
education, training, work experience and job placement services.
· What to donate? Everything from clothing and accessories, to small
household appliances, e-media and computers, cars, fine china, art and other
collectibles.

· Vietnam Veterans of American (VVA)
· About: Gives aid to all of America's veterans. VVA sells your donated items to
private companies by annual bid which generates funding to support programs
(all levels).
· What do donate? Clothes, shoes, toys, books, small appliances, and other
household items. See a lit of acceptance donations here.
· Where to donate? PickUpPlease.org allows you to schedule online appointments
to pick up your donations for free and leave you a tax deduction receipt. See
